David Williams

< Back
David Williams is a uniquely experienced yoga teacher with an uninterrupted daily practice of more than 40 years. He was the first non-Indian to learn the complete Ashtanga yoga syllabus from Pattabhi Jois. He brought the late Jois, and his son, Manju, for their first trip to the United States in 1975. Having taught many of today's most respected teachers, including David Swenson, Doug Swenson, Danny Paradise, Cliff Barber, Bryan Kest, and Jonny Kest, David is one of today's most influential figures in yoga.

On this yoga holiday David will focus on a safe and enjoyable practice that will, hopefully, inspire a lifetime love of yoga. He'll show not only how to increase flexibility and strength, but more importantly how the best way to do this in the long term is to enjoy your yoga as well as increase the intuitive understanding of one's self and the healing strength within.
