The lovely and caring Maria Boox, with over 20 years yoga experience was delighted to return to Yoga Rocks at Triopetra after leading some special yoga retreats here in 2010, 2011 & 2012.  

    

First qualifying with the Iyengar family, she found her true path in the Ashtanga and was a direct student of Sri K Pattabhi Jois, blessed and authorized to teach by him for many years.     

After establishing, owning and running, one of Sweden’s best yoga schools for ten years, Maria opted for the open road teaching retreats in beautiful locations while nurturing her practice and encouraging others. She teaches traditional Ashtanga, regularly visiting Mysore, India – the home of Ashtanga Yoga.      

Morning classes will be taught in a traditional Mysore style. Afternoon classes will be more leisurely explorations of other aspects of the physical practice as well as yoga philosophy. Her ability to illuminate this and make it accessible and relevant is truly inspiring.
