Nora and Tamar brought us their Jivamukti yoga retreat. Active vinyasa incorporating chanting, a devotional attitude and yoga philosophy with an emphasis on animal liberation and ahimsa was well received.
Morning pranayama and meditation was followed with an asana class as Nora and Tamar shared the teaching. Afternoon asana labs and/or classes looked into the poses in a bit more depth.
The grateful group from far flung places lapped up the sunshine, good company and teaching. Smiles got bigger and furrowed brows relaxed!
Evening Kirtan out by the pool morphed into star gazing, campfire like stories, chilling and bonding giving the feel of a real family affair.
A video night showing Cowspiracy helped promote the vegan discussions as did the delicious vegan food on offer this retreat.
