David Lurey 10-17 June 2017

David Lurey came back to join us after a fallow Yoga Rocks year. Having been with us every other retreat year, we as well as David, were excited to reunite and pledge to continue having fun together in future years. Here’s David’s 2017 holiday review.

An imaginative crafter of retreats, David offers an ever developing array of yoga nourishment. His steady and accessible, yet strong vinyasa flow forms the basis of the retreat and his detailed, clear instructions help everyone, from beginners to teachers, feel supported and stretched.

Anything can happen with afternoons dedicated to more specific workshop style classes. Pranayama, Aadil Palkhivala and Iyengar influenced hip opening sequences,  acrobatic acroyoga on the beach, theraputic acroyoga or Thai massage can all make an appearance depending on how the retreat develops.

Magical evening chanting is the perfect way to end the day whether you are singing your heart out under the stars or enjoying the soothing/distant rhythms from under the covers as you enjoy an early night. David loves to play the the guitar and the light June evenings provide the perfect accompaniment.
