The atmosphere in the misty morning Mysore class was intense and encouraging with Mel and Emil’s dedicated and comforting attention. It was an interesting week’s practice with many reporting new and exciting discoveries often due to Mel’s accessible and intelligent anatomical explanations. Some guests chose to follow their sweaty Mysore style practice with the led primary series out on the deck, an alluring spot on a fresh morning. Those who opted for just the led class were also very happy and everyone arrived hungry for the delicious brunch.
Sunny spring afternoons saw a chilled yin yoga session with pranayama and alternating meditation and yoga nidra with guests looking happily zonked out as they drifted out of class. Gayatri mantra chanting was an optional after dinner extra.
