Two more fantastic Sky retreats. As ever, each a little different, the first having a more yoga holiday vibe with guests along for some yoga and beaching. The second retreat had a few more ‘deeper’ folk, many of whom were long term students of Sky, who helped out with their presence. Sanna led some extra morning meditation sessions for those with the appetite for exploring what was playing out within.

The afternoon workshop varied – always quite exciting to get up into the contained upstairs yoga space with Sky to see what was going to happen. Some sessions guests were asked what guests would like to cover. This always produced a plethora of answers which he then weaved into an interesting, educational and fully yoga stoned mish mash of yoga treasures. Anatomy, pranayama, restorative and shaking were all included at some point. One day we talked about the spine in detail, then tested it out. Another totally different planned session was based around partner meditation with movement which is both emotionally challenging and literally eye opening.

Val: It was truly lovely and our yoga sessions were so subtley different from anything I have experienced. Sky was such a lovely person and pitched the yoga just right for the whole group. Pushing us a bit further and making it so easy too. It was brilliant! It didn’t feel like we did 4 hours of yoga everyday – for me the time just flew in the classes – I wasn’t even aware of it!
