Yoga Rocks retreat in 2024 will once again enjoy the majestic bay of Agios Pavlos. Located on a small cliff overlooking the picturesque, sandy beach, your accommodation is literally footsteps away from crystalline waters. Completely undeveloped incredible stretches of sand lie only ten minutes walk away. In the other direction deserted rocky coves and caves provide the ultimate opportunity for total peace as well as rock jumping and snorkeling adventures.

How close are we to the beach? Check out our silly bed to beach dash.

Yoga holidays run Saturday to Saturday with yoga beginning on the Sunday morning. We begin each retreat with a chat so we have an idea how everyone can get the most from their holiday. A Friday night celebratory feast at a traditional Cretan taverna ‘closes’ the retreat.

All Yoga Rocks rooms are compact and en suite with stunning views of the Mediterranean from their balcony or terrace.

The scrumptious vegetarian lunch and dinner are served on the terrace overlooking the sea. At all times guests are welcome to a wide range of teas, including medicinal Cretan mountain teas, as well as fresh coffee, fruit and nuts in our breakfast lounge. You can also help yourself to fruit, local honey with homemade yogurt or homemade peanut butter, jams and sourdough bread.

Our nutritious, delicious food draws inspiration from the Cretan diet which is reputedly the healthiest in the world. Detoxify with fresh, quality, local produce. We mainly source fruit and vegetables directly from farmers – organic where possible. Fertile mountain slopes and bountiful sunshine produce some of the tastiest fruit and vegetables, which, when prepared with love (and local olive oil), result in mouth watering yet healthy cuisine. Enjoy your buffet feasts as an integral part of your yoga holiday.

The retreat is non-smoking, alcohol free and vegetarian. Meat eaters consistently return overjoyed with the variety and tastes on the buffet. There is a taverna very close, and two friendly cafes on the bay for those with any extra needs.

What’s included: everything at the yoga retreat is included. The exceptions are massage, the inexpensive Friday night group meal and a boat trip excursion should one be organised. Beach umbrellas and sun loungers on Agios Pavlos bay are payable to the local Cretan lads. Flights and transfers are not included but we do help group you with other guests and arrange the transfers from the airport to make them as cheap and as simple as possible. You must arrange your own travel insurance.

The price starts at 950 euro for a one week yoga retreat. This is based on sharing a room with a travelling companion or another guest of the same gender. We will happily find you a room mate. Single occupancy is available on a first come first served basis for a 275 euro supplement. A 25% deposit  secures the booking. All payments are fully refundable, up to six weeks before start date with half refunds from six weeks to three weeks before the start date. Additionally any payment you make will be fully refundable at any point should a Covid situation prevent you from coming.
